This page contains clarification for NOEW requirements.  The Accredited Service Providers (us) and Electrical Contractors (Installation Work - electrician without accreditation) need to complete NOSW forms.
 
 Notification of electrical work (NOEW)
 
 Electrical contractors must correctly complete a NOEW form for all new electrical installation work, or work resulting in an increase in electrical rating and send it to Energy Utility. Electrical Contractors also must give to customers a copy of this form. 
 

 Notification of service work (NOSW)
 
Accredited service providers must submit an Energy Utility  Application For Connection Form, to inform utility about proposed contestable service work (Level 2 Accreditation) before they start. A Supplementary Application For Connection Form must also be completed when required.
 
When the contestable service work has been completed, service providers (us) must mail or fax a completed notification of service work (NOSW) form to their local Customer Service Office.
 
 Standards
 
The standards for electrical installation work and contestable work are amended and updated regularly. Accredited service providers must undertake refresher course and pass additional exams each year, to keep accreditation license.
