Why Test and TagSafety - this process is to ensure the safety of all people using appliances to avoid Electrical shock.
In some cases this is made mandatory by either a customer or business requirement. The WHS act requires a PCBU to operate a safe workplace which could require all electrical appliances and extensions leads to be tagged on a regular basis.
